Mango payasam

 Ingredients :
  •  Ripe Mango skinless 2 (grind into pulp)
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • cardamom 1/2 tsp
  • milk 1/2 litre
  • sooji 3 tsp


 Method :

 Boil milk well. add sugar, rava to make it thicker(can even add All pupupose/maida or rice flour in the place of rava).
Add cardamom powder and mix well.

 Turn off the gas. Now, mix the mango pulp paste to the milk and mix well.
Cut half of the mango pieces without skin to garnish the payasam.

Green cardamom is delicate and gives floral smell, whereas black cardamom is strong and smoky, normally used in soups, stew and non-vegetarian dishes.

i would like to know about the procedure , how the kheer made with rice and milk made? They call that kheer as Paal Payasam in south India which is a very famous dish down here.
