It is rich in protein, carbohydrate, minerals, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A & B, iodine & sulphur.
*Ragi flour – 2 cups
*Onion – 1 chopped
*Sesame oil – 10 ml
*Rock salt ,Water – sufficient quantity
Add two pinches of salt to the ragi flour and mix.
Add chopped & fried onion .Gradually add warm water to the flour and knead the dough.
Keep it aside for ½ an hour ,Divide the dough into small balls.
Flatten the balls one by one into thin chapattis with your hands on a smooth surface. Use little oil to prevent sticking.
Roast the chapatti on a heated griddle/ pan
Add a spoon of sesame oil around the corners and roast it evenly on both sides.
