Green rice/aakukoorala rice

Ingredients:

*Any two types of greens – each 1 cup(i took mint,cilantro)
*Green peas-1/4th cup
*Cashew nuts – 2 table spoons,
*Ground nuts – 2 table spoons,
*Green chilli, ginger, garlic and cumin seeds paste – 1 to 2 table spoons,
*Cloves – 3,
*Cooked rice – 2 cups,
*Ghee – 1 table spoon,
*Oil- 2 table spoons,
*Turmeric powder – a pinch,
*Lemon juice – 1 table spoon



Method:

 Heat oil and ghee together in a kadai, add nuts to oil and fry them. Then add green chilli paste, cloves,Ginger galic and finey chopped greens and  green peas cook for  10-15 mins.

Finally add cooked rice and salt, turmeric powder. Cook for 2 mins.

Turn off heat and let it cool some time and add lemon juice.

Note: You can serve with onion raitha or any dal.
