|Ingredients :Khakra is healthy delicious snack|
- wheat flour - 80 gms
- cummin powder - 1 tsp
- Flaxseed 15gm(benifit of this seed is for heart diesease and lowering cholesteral)
- salt - to taste
- oil-1tsp to knead
- water to bind dough
•Mix whole wheat flour and roasted flaxseed powder. Make dough, adding salt and cummin powder
•Knead the dough and portion out into four equal sized balls.
•Roll them like a thin roti. Roast on hot tawa till crisp, turning often.
•Drizzle few drops of oil on both the sides. Serve with chutney.
Try Variation:Variation in the recipe can be made by addition of Spinach and Tomato puree (Cocktail Khakra) or Fenugreek leaves and Garlic (Masala Khakra).
