- Rice pwd 1 cup
- Udad pwd 1 cup
- Idli rava 1 cup
- Fast rising yeast 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
Just mix all these ingredients in warm water to the idli batter consistancy. Place it in the oven or any warm place overnight to rise and thats it! Its that easy...
you can make idlys in microwave with egg poacher..fill idly batter in microwave egg maker holes and on the the top add few drops of water ,close it and microvave it for 3-5 minutes ...
This is best when travelling with kids to the long trips..
