- 3 cups puffed rice/maramaralu
- 1/4 cup roasted daal
- 1 cup powdered jaggery
- 1/2 of a coconut cut in thin pieces
- 2 teaspoons dry ginger powder
- Ghee/coconut oil to grease your palms.
Dissolve jaggery in some water, strain and remove the impurities. Add the dry ginger powder to it.
You will be able to form a ball with the boiled syrup.) This texture works well for any unda made using jaggery syrup like the kadalai urundai, pottukadalai urundai, manoharam etc.
Puffes balls/maramarala undalu are ready.
