Ravva kesari

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup roasted sooji
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1 tsps cardamom powder
* 5-6 split cashew nuts
* 8-10 raisins
* 1/4 cup ghee
* 3/4 cup water
* 2 pinches of kesar food colour


 
Method :
mix the roasted sooji and sugar together and keep aside

heat ghee in a kadai and fry the cashew and raisins till golden.

pour in the water and allow to boil.

when boiling simmer add the food colour,cardamom

now slowly add the sooji sugar mixture and stir well.

keep stirring till the whole mixture is well blend and cover and cook till 2-3 minutes.

turn off gas and keep covered for another 2 or 3 minutes.

serve warm.
