Semiya halwa

Ingredients :
  • Ghee ----- 4 spoons
  • Semiya/india vermicelli ----- 1 cup
  • Milk ----- 2 cups
  • Water ----- 2 cups
  • Sugar ----- 1 cup
  • Elachi powder ----- 1/2 spoon
  • Cashew nuts ----- 1/2 cup
  • Raisins ----- 1/2 cup

Method :

  Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec. Add ghee in it and heat it for 2 sec.

 Add cashew nuts and raisins in it. Fry all for 2 min till nuts comes to golden colour.

 Next take the fried nuts and raisins in a cup and keep aside. After add semiya in the pan.

 Fry semiya till it comes to light brown colour, add water in it. Mix once and add milk also in it.

 Mix well and covered with plate on it. Cook for 15 min ,Then mix well. Now add sugar also.

 Mix well till sugar is totally melted. After cook it by mixing it well. Now add elachi on it.

Add fried cashew nuts and raisins in it. Mix once and make the stove off. Now take the sweet into a bowl.

 Enjoy the very tasty and delicious sweet semiya halwa.
